Sudoku - Classic Mind Game (iOS and Android)
1. Who we are
Sudoku - Classic Mind Game (the “App”) is developed and published by Dünya Kulavuz, an individual developer based in Türkiye (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
The App is available on iOS (App Store) and on Android (Google Play, package com.dunyakilavuz.sudoku_classic). This policy covers both versions. Where something applies to only one platform, it is labelled “On iOS” or “On Android”.

2. Summary
- You can play without creating an account. The App then uses a random guest ID to save your progress.
- You can optionally sign in to keep your progress across devices. On iOS, you can sign in with Apple, Google or Facebook. On Android, you can sign in with Google.
- Game progress (statistics, scores, coins) is stored with our game-backend provider, Talo.
- Free players see ads from Google AdMob. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first. On iOS, ads are personalised with your advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking. On Android, ads use your Android advertising ID, which you can reset or delete in Android settings.
- Premium subscribers see no ads, and no advertising SDK is started for them.
- Payments are handled entirely by Apple on iOS and by Google Play on Android. We never see your card details.
- We do not sell your personal data. We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services.
- You can delete your account inside the App at any time (Settings › Delete Account) or by emailing us.
3. Data we process
| Data | Details | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Guest ID | A random identifier created on first launch. It saves a guest's progress without an account. | Your device and Talo |
| Player ID and login aliases | A player ID assigned by Talo, plus the login(s) linked to it: the guest ID and, if you sign in, your Apple user ID, Google account ID or Facebook user ID. | Talo |
| Display name | The name shared by your sign-in provider, if any. | Talo and your device |
| Game data | Games completed, best times, streaks, best score, coins, hint credits, total play time and similar progress values. | Talo and your device |
| Technical request data | When the App connects to Talo, the provider receives standard connection data such as your IP address and request time. Test builds of the App also send a “development build” flag so test data is kept apart. This flag is not used in the App Store or Google Play versions. | Talo |
| Advertising data (free players) | See section 5. | |
| Purchase status | Whether you have an active Premium subscription, as reported by Apple (on iOS) or Google Play (on Android). | Your device |
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, messages, health data or browsing history. The App has no analytics or crash-reporting SDK. Sharing a puzzle with a friend creates a code or link on your device. It is not sent to our servers.
4. Sign-in providers (optional)
Signing in is optional; you can also play as a guest. When you sign in, the progress from your guest session moves to your account. You can link more than one login (for example Apple and Google) to the same account.
- On iOS: Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In and, when available, Facebook Login.
- On Android: Google Sign-In.
Sign in with Apple (iOS)
- We receive your stable Apple user identifier. On first sign-in only, we may also receive your name and email address if you choose to share them. The email may be an Apple private-relay address.
- The user identifier and name are sent to Talo, as described above. Your email address is kept only on your device; it is not sent to Talo or to us.
- Apple's privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy
Google Sign-In (iOS and Android)
- We receive your Google account ID, name, email address and profile picture URL.
- The account ID and name are sent to Talo. Your profile picture URL is kept only on your device. We do not store or send your email address.
- Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Facebook Login (iOS)
- When Facebook Login is offered in the App, we receive your Facebook user ID and name. If you grant permission, we also receive your email address and profile picture.
- The Facebook user ID and name are sent to Talo in the same way as the other logins. Your email address and profile picture are kept only on your device, if received at all.
- To delete data received through Facebook Login, use Settings › Delete Account in the App or email us (section 11). You can also remove the App from your Facebook settings (Settings & privacy › Apps and websites).
- Meta's privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy
5. Advertising (free players only)
Free players may see rewarded video ads, which are optional and give hints or a second chance, and banner ads. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. Premium subscribers never see ads, and the advertising SDK is not started for them.
- Consent first. Before any ad is requested, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to show a consent message where required. This includes the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and certain US states. If you are a free player in those regions, you can change your choice at any time in Settings › Privacy Options.
- Tracking permission (on iOS). The App may ask for Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. Your advertising identifier (IDFA) is available to Google only if you allow tracking. If you decline, ads are not personalised with the IDFA. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Advertising ID (on Android). On Android, AdMob uses your Android advertising ID, subject to the consent choices described above. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your Android settings (for example Settings › Privacy › Ads; the exact path depends on your device).
- What Google may process: device and app information, device and advertising identifiers (on iOS, the IDFA only if you allow tracking; on Android, the Android advertising ID), IP address, app and ad interactions, approximate location derived from the IP address, and diagnostics. Google uses this data for advertising and analytics: to serve, measure and, with consent, personalise ads, and to prevent fraud.
- How Google uses data from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
6. Premium subscriptions
On iOS: Premium is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment and your payment details. We never receive your card or bank details. The App receives only the transaction information Apple provides on your device, such as which plan is active and the purchase dates. It uses this to unlock Premium and saves an “is Premium” flag on your device. Your subscription belongs to your Apple ID and can be restored with “Restore Purchases”. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting your account in the App does not cancel the subscription.
On Android: Premium is offered as auto-renewing weekly, monthly and yearly subscriptions sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and your payment details, and receives your purchase information as part of this. We never receive your card or bank details. Your subscription belongs to your Google account. You can manage or cancel it in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions). Deleting your account in the App does not cancel the subscription. Google Play's privacy policy is part of Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
7. Data stored on your device
The App stores the following in its local storage on your device: your guest ID, session details (player ID, login type and identifier, display name), a copy of your game statistics, your Premium status, the profile picture URL and Apple email described above, and the last account used on this device (to offer account linking). This data stays on your device. It is removed when you delete your account in the App or uninstall the App.
8. Purposes and legal bases
- Providing the game, saving and syncing your progress, and managing your account: performance of our agreement with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)).
- Showing ads to free players: our legitimate interest in funding a free app. Personalised ads and the use of advertising identifiers rely on your consent where the law requires it (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (f); KVKK Art. 5(1) and 5(2)(f)).
- Subscriptions: performance of the agreement, with Apple (on iOS) or Google Play (on Android) processing the payment.
- Security, fraud prevention and legal obligations: legitimate interests and legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c) and (f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(ç) and (f)).
10. Retention
- Account and game data on Talo are kept while you use the App. They are deleted when you delete your account (see below).
- Guest data that has not been used for 24 months may be deleted.
- Data on your device is kept until you delete your account or uninstall the App.
- Advertising data is retained by Google under its own policies. Purchase records are retained by Apple (on iOS) or Google (on Android) under their own policies.
11. Deleting your account and data
In the App (iOS and Android): Settings › Delete Account (shown when you are signed in). This immediately erases your progress, statistics, coins and display name from our backend, and clears all App data on your device. The remaining account record, including your linked Apple, Google or Facebook login identifiers, is then permanently deleted from Talo within 30 days. Afterwards, the App starts again as a new guest.
By email: send a deletion request to dunyakilavuz@gmail.com. Please include your platform (iOS or Android), the sign-in method you used (Apple, Google or Facebook) and, if you can, your display name. This option is available on both platforms. We may ask you to confirm the request. We answer within 30 days.
If you signed in with Apple, you can also stop using Apple sign-in for this App in iOS Settings › [your name] › Sign in with Apple. If you signed in with Google, you can also remove the App's access in your Google account settings (myaccount.google.com/connections).
12. Your rights (KVKK and GDPR)
Under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK, Article 11) and, where applicable, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- learn whether we process your personal data, and get information about and a copy of it;
- learn the purpose of processing and the third parties it is transferred to, in Türkiye or abroad;
- have inaccurate data corrected, and have your data deleted or destroyed;
- restrict processing or object to it, including objecting to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format (data portability);
- withdraw consent at any time, for example ad consent in Settings › Privacy Options tracking in iOS Settings, or your advertising ID in Android settings, without affecting earlier processing;
- object to an outcome against you that arises solely from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing;
- lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (kvkk.gov.tr) or your local EU/UK data protection authority.
To exercise these rights, email dunyakilavuz@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days at the latest, and free of charge unless the law permits a fee.
13. Children
The App is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13. In the EEA, the minimum age may be up to 16, depending on your country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under these ages. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Security
All data is sent to our providers over encrypted connections (HTTPS), on both iOS and Android. Access to the backend is limited to the developer. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when we add features such as Facebook Login. The updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. If the changes are significant, we will also tell you in the App.
